2000 325 Trail Boss 2X4 bogs down
Hey I have never had any trouble with my 2000 Polaris trailboss 325 2X4 unitl this year. It cranks right up but it you give it too much gas it bogs down until you let off the gas. It does not want to pull in drive either but runs good in reverse. Can you give any suggestions on what i need to look at first. I thought about maybe changing spark plug. Not sure

Just answered your pm,but others may be able to help also. Change the plug first. May need a carb kit as mentioned? Plus check the belt for excess slack (more than 1 1/2"when pulled down on the middle of the belt, plus even worn ramp buttons in the rear clutch can cause problems if worn. Another thing you can do is to pull the black wire from the reverse limiter. They can cause limiting or dying problems if they fail. You will have full power in reverse without having to push the over ride button. Black wire from module #34 under the front panel.

This free pdf 330 Trail Boss is basically the same as the 325.Index of /ORV Manuals/Polaris/Trail Boss/2003
If you want a hardcover one, they're fairly expensive.http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-POLARIS-Trail-Boss-325-Service-Manual-/190827360551?pt=Motors_Manuals_Literature&hash=item2c6e327127&vxp=mtr
