2001 Scrambler 500 Silencer and/or Pipe
#1
Anyone out there have a recommendation on a good silencer or pipe/silencer combination for a 2001 500 Scrambler? I'm looking for an aftermarket setup that will provide the same noise level that I have now. Don't want to upset the neighbors.
Thanks in advance!

Well HPD has the best variety of clutch kits.
as for a pipe I am not to sure of one as quiet as stock. The supertrapp and whitebros both use discs which you can to make it quieter or louder but by making it quieter you are losing power you might as well keep your stock pipe on.
But if you do not mind a little louder when punched at full throttle HPD makes an awesome pipe just as quiet at idle but a deeper thump (VERY NICE) when pegged it has a nice but not obnoxious sound good power gains too.And when matched with there clutch kit (NICE)
well I am a little biased toward HPD if you cannot tell because I love my setup so far............but more to come when my money tree grows back .
talk to some people and see what they have to say about there setups too to get a good judgement on what you want.
hope this helps
