Default bad fuel pump

so my 05 sportsman 500 carb has been bogging and sputtering at high speeds and accellerates slowly and has trouble going up hills, so i took the 3 lines of the fuel pump and the top line pissed gas out like mad, the middle one just dripped and a litgle was draining out constantly and the bottom line did nothing, is my fuel pump faulty?

The top line goes to the carb(outlet) it should have fuel. The one right below it is the inlet from the fuel valve, should have a little fuel draining out of it. The one on the bottom is the vacuum line to the carb (has a "p" on the plate) shouldn't have fuel.... Clean your carb first..

IF the top outlet line is pissing fuel then it's getting plenty fuel from the inlet!! CLEAN YOUR CARB

One last time! It wont be coming out of the fuel pump, fuel will just be backing out of the line to the carb because the fuel pump has to have a constant vacuum for it to pump. That is the engine has to be RUNNING.When the engine stops, the pump stops! Don't sweat the small stuff,CLEAN YOUR CARB,change your plug, hook the hoses back up correctly, then see if it runs better...
