I just ordered a spring from rick at RCR, was this a good idea or a bad one? Tell me how yours performs top speed, mid, low, and in reverse. Also how is the acceleration?

my dad just got a green spring for his scrambler 500 and it burns now. i got one for my trail boss and it helped some too. i think it helped a lot at low end and a lil bit on top for the scrambler i havent topped it out yet cuz we just put them in so im not for sure. it all depends on what color sprinbg u got either white or green.

Be aware that changing the primary spring will raise the engagement RPM, and may cause the reverse rev limiter to kick in prior to the quad moving. Disconnecting the grey / red wire from the rev limiter under the hood will take it out of the circuit.

I'm not sure what color it is. I don't think Rick at RCR goes by color. He just said it was a better aftermarket spring.
