long crank before start

After once it cranks,if it cranks again like normal I wouldn't worry about it. Sitting for two weeks fuel can evaporate from the fuel bowl, has to have the fuel pump prime up and fuel flow to the carb. Same thing happens on my old Honda. If I let it sit for awhile, the first crank takes longer as it has to get the vacuum operated petcock flowing.Main thing is to keep some kind of ethanol treatment/fuel preservative to keep gummy build up from happening in the carb bowl and jets. If it's left for any length of time I'd keep it on a cheap battery maintainer. The Yuasa battery I have is over 5 1/2 years old now.
