Default 2000 magnum front wheel lock up

I just bought a 2000 magnum 500 4x4. After riding awhile, one of the front wheels locks up. If I let it set awhile, it works fine but I usually just take it back to the barn. I'm not mechanically inclined and this is my first atv. What's up?

Two bearings in the strut housing, two bearings in the hub, roll cage and armature plate.Sounds like you need to take it apart along with checking the other side while you're add it.Probably dry on hub fluid and bearings are seizing. A manual goes a long way on repairs. Here's a pdf manual on the Sportsman 500,has the same front wheel drive system. Or you can get a specific Magnum 500 manual on Ebay. Thanks. I have an owners workshop manual. Is this easy to do myself?

Try changing the hub fluid first you may get lucky. The ending of this video shows how to do it. Skip to 9min into it.
