Default 2001 Scrambler 500 Interminit spark

I have a 01 scrambler 500 - I can take the plug out and rarely will see spark. I can get it to run then it just quits and wont restart.
Ohms on white and white red 108
ohms on red to red black 22.00

I can find ohms readings online for the 3 wire w/ green not for the 2 wire with just red and red black

Any help would be thankful, like i said it will run sometimes so i don't think my cdi is an issue yet. Hoping i can get ohms readings
Thank you in advance

Ohms on pick up coil white to white/red show ok(97) but exciter coil should show 446 ohms.If you narrow it down to the exciter coil, stators are reasonable here. http://www.rickystator.com/catalog/polaris-c-24_38.html Plus could be as simple as this poster found.http://forums.atvconnection.com/pola...ml#post3155476

Default Fixed the problem

I appreciate the help, looked and sure enough the rope had pushed the pick up out of the way. Along with there was a washer almost welded to the stator behind the flywheel cleaned it all and fired right up.

Thank you!!!!

When you mentioned the pull rope breaking, kinda thought it might be the cause of the problem. Glad it was a cheap fix..
