I just bought a 2000 Trail Boss and was thinking about picking up some different tires for it. What kind of tire has me though. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

What type of riding do you do, on what terrain?

I mostly do trail riding in woods, occasionally I get in some deep mud. Alot of times I am also on logging roads.

2000 Trail Boss eh??? How do you like it? Have you ever owned a trail boss before? Just curious because I have a 91 trail boss 250cc 2 stroke and I see now the new models are a 300cc 4 stroke. How do they compare to the 250 motor? More bottom end I suppose... But how about the fun factor? Are they just as fun to ride as the 250ccc?

I love it, I have rode a trail blazer 250cc but not the trail boss 250. It's just as fun to ride as the blazer. The extra 75cc do alot. It is mostly bottom end power. I love it is all I have to say.

I have had good luck with Bearclaws, they are a good tire that doesn't tear everything up, don't weigh too much, and also have good traction on a variety of terrain. They come in sizes ranging from 22x8x10 - 26x12x12, so you can get about any size you want.

Good luck.

The only thing I wish it had was low range.
