Default Scrambler XP 1000

Polaris announced the new Scrambler XP 1000 EPS. There's a new Ranger XP 900 deluxe too. There are lots of links to the news. Here's one. 2014 Polaris Scrambler 1000 & Ranger XP 900 - Motorcycle USA

Holy cow! 767lbs and they call it a sport 4x4.
Amazing how Polaris can make a 165hp 800cc snowmobile and keep it under 500lbs. http://www.powersportsnetwork.com/en...cleCode=292176
Even their heaviest 2up Utility with its 156x20 track and low range only weighs 730lbs.
I do not know why the ATVs do not get the 145hp 750 4stroke twin like the sleds.

Polari's Liberty 750 4stroke sled/PWC has way more power then their 900 or1000 ATV motor.

While I'm glad to see them do something to the Scrambler besides the legendary Bold New Graphics , I do miss the old plastics they had on them.

Look nothing like a sport atv.

It's funny. Alone the new Scrambler 850 and 1000 look pretty ugly. But when they are parked next to a Renegade 500, 800, or 1000 they look pretty decent.

I'd rather have half the horsepower at half the cost. More like the old Scramblers.

I feel the same way frank, I dont like the look or price of the new scramblers.i feel like the mfgs are turning there backs on the true enthusiasts that put them where they are in the 1st place.i have my 03 Tb 400 and it still hasnt been apart, I have a pipe, carb reeds on it n it rips, id love to clutch it n put in a new piston to see what it really does.

i have ridden the new 850 and it is awesome. i would love to own one. but i just couldnt justify the price tag. thats one of the main reasons i built my IRS/gen3 scrambler hybrid. built that for around $1500. i can handle that......
