Default CV Boot - Gorilla still around

Several years back, I replaced a CV boot on the front of my old 2000 Scrambler with one made by Gorilla. It had a lifetime warranty and such and seemed to be a superior boot to the OEM part, by the material thickness and flexibility. I don't see them offered anymore, though. Did they stop producing them? If so, what is the preferred boot these days? I have a family member needing to replace one on a 2000 Explorer 250

I just use the OEM there only $25 at my dealer and I only changed the two rear ones on my 2001. $50 over 13 years seems as good as I need.
Life time warranty sounds nice but like a set of tires or a belt, CV boots are a part that can never last the life of the machine.
They guy was not happy his OEM CV boot lasted 14 years?

Thicker may sound better, but often times it's not. Some were hard to seal moisture out along with hard to use clamps. Had a lot of customers go aftermarket only to return to oem boots and clamps after they gave them a try.

He is not offering any complaints about the factory boot. I was just asking which one is preferred, since it's been almost a decade since I changed one out in an ATV.

My experience was with a '00 model and a 2-3 year old boot. Realizing the boot would probably get damaged in the future, I opted for the one that had the lifetime coverage so I wouldn't have to pay out the $50 or whatever it was in the future, for the replacement part. Just thinking ahead.

Is the OEM boot kit (appears to be p/n 2201015) the one to have, then? I see a Made in USA boot kit on Ebay, too.
