Default 500 scrambler raw fuel

I just changed the cam shaft again - it ran awsome for about 2-4 mintues had a lot of trouble to restart. Now when i crank it, pure fuel is coming out the exhaust. Seems to be alot of fuel for a 4wheeler to idle -10 cranks get around a cup of fuel. Never touched the carb, and did run before this.

Timing has been checked and rechecked,Valve's have been set.

Idea's??

Pure fuel coming out of the exhaust just means fuel isn't being ignited either from carb problems or mechanical problem. Compression,rings/piston,leaking valves, etc. Start at the easy part, the carb and eliminate it as a problem first. Plus this is a sensitive carb and float must be set right. Here's one similar to your BST40 carb on a KTM. Plus carb kits are available on Ebay. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=347184

Worn needle and seat can cause too much fuel at idle along with the float level if not set correctly. Can take the fuel at higher rpms, but will usually stumble and die at an idle if this is the case. After you install the carb kit make sure you adjust the float level as pictured.
