Tire Repair

Fix a flat is a very messy thing to use. Tire slime, a patch kit and a co2 filler will work much better.
Something like this. There are other brands and styles too. Just an example of what's out there that is much better than fix a flat.

Many different methods. There is Fix a flat in a can that blows the tire up and plugs hole.
There is pre loaded "slime" which automatically stops a leak as it happens. Run over a nail and you would not even know it until you get home..
My favorite is tire plugs and we carry a small DC air pump.

In the groups I've ridden with we've fixed over a dozen tires in the woods. One of mine was a nasty side gash that took 3 plugs. We aired it up with a small Slime compressor. Held air, not only for the rest of the ride, but until I got new tires, about 1,000 hard miles later. Where quad tires are very low pressure I'm not too worried about side wall repairs.

The first ride I took on my quad, I got a slice in the tire. Had some fix a flat and it slowed the leak down. Slime slowed it down a little better. Plugging it worked for about 2 years. Man that was a mess inside the tire.
After that I just used plugs.
You could use a hand pump too. But it's not the pressure that will keep you pumping till you get tired. It's the volume you're trying to fill.

The one I use is just a cheap $5.99 one from Canadian Tire. I just rap it in a small towel and stick in under the seat so it does not get banged up.
On our big fishing trips we carry more then one in our group, so one has to work. A hand or foot pump will work as well. Your only asking for 5psi.
Found out my 350 does not even have a DC plug in which sucks.
