Default Wrecked 2005 trailblazer 250

As of two weekends ago I wrecked my ATV. My reason for coming here is to get some information to determine whether or not it is fixable. Both A-arms are bent and there are other various bends on the frame. Does anyone know what the piece of the frame that the top of the strut mounts to is called?
Any and all help is appreciated, Thanks.

A-arms are obviously replaceable. as far as the mainframe, whew, it can be cut out and pieces/runs replaced. it may be weak, but can be done. if you could find a frame on CL or something local, you could always transfer motor/peripherals over from your wrecked frame to the other frame. just a thought.

Welcome to the forums.

Does the motor and transmission still work fine? I'm thinking along the same lines Jaster is. Find a used one that isn't running and swap out parts.

To give you an idea of what all the parts are, you can look at the microfiche drawings at different part houses. I use Ronnies because it's my Dad's name and easy to remember.

I don't know if you still can, but you used to be able to register on the Polaris site and download a parts catalog for free.

X3.. Bent a arms aren't a problem even if the mounting tabs on the frame may have bent or even broken. We've had these welded back several times with no problems. But like Jaster and Scooter said,if the top strut mounts are bent or tweaked bad, they're an integral part of the frame and hard to to get them back right like from the factory jigs.Have had people try to heat and bend them back, but steering geometry would be affected and throws everything off.New frames are over 700 bucks, cheaper to keep a look on ebay, craigslist as they mentioned for a good used one.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

We haven't tried running it sense. My father is the one who bought the ATV for me so he has the final say on what we do to it; He has already said we are not getting a new frame for it and if it cant fixed without the new frame I'm out of luck.

don't go for the new frame, get used....shop CL or ebay. some dealerships have atv boneyards in the back. drive around town, look for old quads. shop garage sales. put an ad on CL looking to buy old broken down quads, or looking to buy a frame. heck, where are you located if i may ask? we got an atv boneyard in the town i am in, i just looked at 8 different ones i'm thinking about doing motor swaps on. frames are out there, just hustle and you can find them cheap or someone may give it to you. a little leg work goes a long way.
