Dumb question

On the 95 Magnum 4x4 you have two limiter modules and a regulator/rectifier.One is the reverse limiter module that most Polaris models had.It limited spark in reverse unless you pushed the over ride button to have full power and also awd in reverse. Not a very good idea as most short out over a period of time. The other module is a front hub rpm engagement limiter module that just killed/bypassed the ground circuit to the front hubs when the awd button was pushed when engine rpms were 4000 rpms or more. When rpms were down to a safe level that wouldn't damage the mechanical parts of the awd system, the limiter kicked out, restoring the ground path and power to the awd circuit. This module was eliminated when electrical speedos came out and the limiter was located in the speedo itself. On the parts break down the rpm limiter and the reverse limiter model are listed both as items #43. The hub limiter is mounted at the top of the console, the reverse limiter is mounted up from the cdi. The regulator rectifier is located under the front panel close to the radiator. It's job was to change ac voltage from the stator to dc voltage and regulate voltage to 14-14.5 volts on average to the battery while running.
