Default 03 sportsman starter issue

Hello to all I have 03 sportsman 700 twin in mint condition the bike has had the kokusan ignition update. My problem is the starter starts running when driving sporadically kicks on and off for no reason usually after it is warmed up the headlight switch has something to do with this one of the lower beam headlights goes dim and the starter starts running and then the starter will kick off in the headlight will brighten back up but the headlight switch works fine besides this any ideas is it the switch or possibly something else. It only does this once in a while. However I don't want to fry the starter motor.?!.???

Could be a solenoid problem, but I'd first check the wiring under the headlight pod. Especially the ign switch wiring, around the headlight connector and left control switch wiring that runs under the pod.Could be a short in the switch wiring causing the starter to kick in. This was the worst places for shorts because of all the twisting and turning on the main harness and switch wires.
