you know i was just thinking could it be that i bought an incorrect petcock valve for my atv here s the one that i bought http://www.ebay.com/itm/190689077295?item=190689077295&viewitem=&vxp=mtr and whenever i looked up the oem part number for that particular bike it says that it is the same one that goes on my atv or could it be since it specifically says 00-03 trail blazer 250 and that model has a smaller carburetor i believe it is a 30mm and mine is a 34mm , could it be that that particular petcock valve isnt allowing enough gas through or do i have to go bigger on the main jet perhaps. but here's the thing i never had this problem before it started in june of last year. and i had the atv approximately 2 years before that. even after the engine re-build it never did do this (running out of power feeling like it has no gas) so idk what to do what is you guys opinon
THANKS
RUBEN

If it fits and has good fuel flow, don't see why it would be a problem.Think I'd be looking elsewhere. Found out too the clear stone type Visu filters can reduce flow if you have one of these installed. Reduced flow on my old Honda with the vacuum style fuel valve and I got rid of it.

no sir opt i have a new oem one installed on my atv, do u think maybe since i had the piston over sized .5 mm from 83.5 mm to 84 mm i should maybe try one size bigger on the jet or not. right now it is 240. so maybe a 250.
THANKS
RUBEN

Depends on how it's running. If it hesitates off an idle, then you might try raising up the jet needle to see if it helps. If it seems to fall on it's face you might experiment on larger jets, but always check your plug as a reference. Should be a light to medium brown color.

okay thanks opt but what happens if it is not a light to medium brown what then. and it isnt hesitating off an idle it is at about 15-25 mph when it hesitates or say im giving her full throttle and i let go of the throttle and when i go to jump back on the throttle nothing no response. and im not sure how the jets works what would be the size that follows the 240 is it the 250 or the 230
THANKS
RUBEN
