Default spark plug question

yes hello i have got a quick question about what is the difference in these spark plugs u see when looking up my oem number of spark plug it brings up a br8es 5422 now what does the 5422 mean because i have been purchasing BR8ES-11 i know that the 11 on this plug means the type of end it comes with (resistor) but what does the 5422 mean for my oem. please dont tell me that i have the wrong type of plug because that hurts my machine does it not.

the -11 means it can be gaped up to 1.1 mm (.040) book shows 0.28-0.32 if I remember correctly.

yeah it helped opt ut not with the question that i was asking about the 5422 at the end after the br8es

5422 is NGKs stock number for a standard BR8ES plug which is really what your machine uses. You can use the -11 but will have to regap it as it's designated a larger gap plug. Hope this helps..
