ITP Blackwater XT OR BearClaws?

I wanted a stock 25inch tires and am deciding between BlackwaterXT and Bearclaws, let me know what you think is better.

I see from your address Jerry that you are from Minnesota. So am I.


In your case the Bear Claws would probably be the better choice because of their traction abilities in snow. Bear Claws are a great snow tire.

Blackwaters have less flotation in the snow and have a tendancy to dig holes.

Now if we were in the deserts of the South West the Blackwater would probably be better because of it's rock climbing ability and puncture resistance.

Bear claws are a way better all around tire.And are great in mud and snow.For the price difference between them and other mud tires it's not worth it unless you are a hardcore mudder.Steve
