I put a K&N air filter on my 00TrailBoss and love the little bit of power difference. I followed that with a Goodyear Powerstreak belt and was surprised that i seem to have lost a bit of power. I rode it for about 3hrs with the new belt on and power was noticably (although not drastically) less. Whereas I have been able to pull wheelies fairly easily, with the new belt on i was having to really pull to get a good one. My friend with the 00TrailBlazer noticed the same thing, and couldn't even get his more than 2ft off the ground. What gives?

We've always had good luck out of the Dayco Belts. The Polaris belts don't take the heat very well. Some of the belts have to be ran for awhile to seat in, not sure if your Goodyear belt is that way. Try running it a little longer, if it doesn't get better, buy a Dayco belt.
