Recoils on all the 500s were basically the same over the years.Who really knows what year model you do have as far as the engine goes. Could be a Johnny Cash special.

Possible as the 250/300/350 recoil assy is different, rope sits higher up around the 12 o'clock position versus the 500 recoil that sits lower.. Main thing is as long as the recoil works that's all that matters unless you want to spend 40 bucks for the correct exhaust shield, or leave it as is.
