Default Help ID this Polaris?

Yeah, I'm just learning how to upload pics here! There's a better picture in my last thread under this topic. Yep, I know it's rough, the tires are junk, and the top half of the engine is in a box. But hey - it was free! Most of the ID #s are scraped off (looks like wear and tear, not removed to deceive), looks like the last digits are: W908xxx. Any help would be appreciated!

Looks like an old 90 model 250 4x4. Give us the last 3 digits. Just the model code.Serial #on the other side of the frame down tube. W908127 or W908139(350 4x4)?..

That's identical to one I just picked up except it's a 90 model 2 stroke blazer. I'm stripping it down & parting it out as the frame is ate up & abused/bent in a few places

I was going to guess 250 Trail Boss.

A chain for the front wheel drive and another for the rear wheel drive.

Great job, thanks guys. Stendori, thanks for the help with the post. Old Polaris Tech, you're right - it's a W908127, that means it's a 1990 Trail boss 250? And thanks Scootergptx, that video looks exactly like mine (well, except that yours has a cylinder head, and doesn't have four flat tires!). Can anyone provide links to service or owners manuals? Thanks again.

Here's a $5 pdf service manual that includes different year models including yours. The old 250 engine didn't change that much over the years along with the 3 chain drive system on the 4x4. DOWNLOAD 1985-1995 Polaris ATV Repair Manual ALL MODELS - Download ...
