Does anybody suggest a particular 4 stroke oil brand and weight instead of the polaris oils?I have a 500efi,and 200 phoenix and outlaw 90 for kids.Can I use same oil for all three?Thanks.

 

Dedicated atv dedicated oil such as Mobil or Amsoil 0w40 or even Rotella 5w40 would work on all the machines as they don't have friction modifiers. Shouldn't be a factor in the cv clutches,plus shouldn't be a problem in the starter clutch of the Phoenix. Only odd ball of the group is the 90 that shows to use 20/40,but shouldn't hurt to use ow40 or 5w40 if you want to use one weight of oil for all machines.

 

I have been using 0w-40 Amsoil full synthetic for years ,4000 miles on the ATV now and it had 1200 miles on it when I bought it 9 years ago.


Here is your choice of oil filters as well.
I have been using the longer 3.5" Fram PH7317 for awhile now. I just think the longer ones must have more filtering material then stock 2.5" since its longer.

These Oil Filters have 20 x 1.5mm threads, 14 psi by-pass valve, anti-drain back valve, 2.3" O.D. gasket 2.5" to 3.5" long.
