Just blow em out first in an open area to get the majority of the belt dust/dirt so you don't breathe this crap in. Best to remove the rear clutch so you blow out the back area around the helix. This area usually has a lot of trapped dust. Then you can spray brake/electronic cleaner to get the residue if you wish.Even better with the rear clutch off to go ahead and break it down and replace the ramp buttons while you're at it.

You don't need the clutch press on a non ebs clutch. Just tap the helix down with a dead blow hammer a little enough to get the circlip off. Same way when you install the buttons, prewind the clutch, just tap it down then use c clamps to hold the clutch sheaths or helping hands, then install the circlip back on. If you can find after market buttons, probably wouldn't matter, but I've never looked.http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-OEM-2011-2012-2013-Polaris-Sportsman-400-500-4x4-HO-Secondary-Clutch-Buttons-/400742053733?hash=item5d4e167765&vxp=mtr
