hey opt thanks i was talking bout a where do i find rear axle lol but i am going to book mark that page because i do need new 4x4 shafts as mine were actuaally takin out

the reason i need a new rear axle is because my sprocket has sum up and down play on the axle so im scared it will strip right through the splines and then im screwd its not alot of play just a little but i expect will get worse over time

okay thank thats a pretty cool website lol

and on my scrambler i was inspecting my enigne around the head gasket and i noticed that there are little tab looking peices of the gasket that stick out of the engine is it like that on all of them ? my first guess was the engine has been redone before and some one may have put the gasket on wrong ? or is it supossed to be like that .. if you can understand what im trying to say lol

ok was just wondering ...

so i found out today why my my left tire looked like it was pushed out more then the other and it was cuz whoever had the quad before me put the rim on the hub inside out so i took it off and put it on the right way now it looks much better

but in the process of doing that i had the atv jacked up and i noticed every thing on my axle seems loose is my axle nut loose ? nothing has up and down play not evan the axle but i can slide some things side to side .. dosent seem right to me
if it is the axle nut loose what do i need to tighten it

yah i was looking at all the rims and 3 out of 4 had the air stems sticking facing out and the one rim had it facing in and i was like what the hell and reversed it now it looks normal..

as for the pics im not sure how to post on here i tried before and my picture was so big it wouldent evan let me post it lol...

but when atv is jack up every thing moves side to side evan the axle ..no up and down play or wiggle ... just side to siide like as if im going to slide them off i dont mean move left and right.... as for what it is its the axle and sprocket hub thats why i asked if maby the axle nut what loose if i need new bearing ill deal with that later on but i seen bad bearings and buddy could spin his axle in circles lol

this things full of problems lol after i figure out 1 2 more pop up jeeezz

i got another question off topic im going to e taking the engine apart in the next day or 2 and am still a little confused about the boring and wich size piston to buy

now it says my cylinder is 92mm standard bore... my question is i found a piston that is ment for a 92.50 bore ( it says actual size of piston is 92.47mm)

so can i just tell polaris to bore it to 92.50 and buy that piston ? its a namura piston kit / gaskets

i know this is a question i should ask the dealer but the phone lady is very rude and last time told me just to bring it in.. i cant afford to just bring it in lol at a 100 bucks an hr

Always have the oversize piston in hand first! The machine shop or dealer can take it from there and have the exact piston dimensions so they can bore and hone the cylinder properly to specs.
