Where can I find a backup light ?

Harold, I had the cycle country atv backup light on my sportsman 500 and it came on when you put it in reverse and with a toggle switch. It worked good but I thought it could be alittle brighter. It costs 22.99 from denniskirk.com/1800-328-9280 part # 21-986 I also see a better set of lights from MOOSE, they are 34.95 and you get two halogen lights with the wiring kit and toggle switch. You would have to flip the switch to get these to come on. They say you can mount them in the front or back. Given the choice and since I already have tried the cycle country light, I would try the MOOSE Halogen Light Kit part# 21-996 $34.95 SPECS: 4" H x 3" W puts off 120,000 candlepower of light. Anymore questions just ask.

I went to my local hardware store and picked up a black rubber coated utility light and a length of of wire for less than $10. I bolted the light to my rear bumper (therefore grounding the unit) and ran the wire up the frame (fastened with plastic tie wraps) and wired it in to the reverse light in the headlight pod. Works great and comes on when I shift into reverse.
