Default 450 ho v 570

A dealer close by has a 450 HO new for $5,099.00 and a 570 for $5,599.00. I know the 450 is tuned different with lower HP. Are there any other differences between the two? I think the tire size is different but I am curious about other features. My main use will be plowing my driveway (550 foot), and other yard work uses. There are no real trails closeby to ride so I don't think the top speed will be a huge difference. I'm wandering if for just around the house I would be better to get the 450 and put the $500.00 toward winch and plow? Is the extra $500.00 to go to the 570 a no brainer? Thanks

In most cases, I'd say go for the more hp, but for what you are doing, the 450 might be a better fit. Friend of mine just bought one, it's a nice machine, just a little slow. Should last forever, being a derated 570. He's very happy with the ride.

If money is really that much of a concern, then I guess go with the 450. But for $500 more, I can't imagine not going with the more powerful machine. Its a significant difference in power. Its basically the difference between a Grizzly 660 and a Kodiak 450. 50% more power for 10% more cost sounds like a bargain to me. $5099 or $5599 is basically the same amount of money. Unless you're paying cash, financing is basically going to net you almost the same payment. Difference will be like $10 per month.

Id take the 450HO, it is set at 31hp but gobs of torque. Torque is what gets it done. My 400HO (455cc 30HP) has never left me wanting more.

I'm pretty sure the 570 has more torque as well. Generally the bigger the engine, the more torque it has. I see no disadvantage to getting the 570.

It's the same 567cc engine, just tuned for 31hp and more torque for work. I'll link the intro vid after.

Same engine, just tuned for more torque. I'd go 450HO.

The 570 has more power but how much torque does each one have?
