Trailblazer get up & go
#1
Please help me out guys I have a
2000 Trailblazer with a few mods
such as a K&N Douglass rims
andsome other alunminum goodies
but my main concern is getting
some good bottom end power, I ride
in the woods mostly and could use
a good bottom end bost with out
going spend crazy.

My wife has the same problem with her 00 TB
No get up and go, I was told to get a clutch kit, pipe, and K&N filter, and rejett it, for around $250 I have not mess with it yet, but thats what I plan on doing, I wish I would of made her get the sport now, good luck.

I put a Polaris plain primary spring in my friends '99 Trailblazer and it really helped the low end power on it without sacrificing top end performance. It gave it a higher engagement and about the same shift speed as stock. He raced my nephew's '00 Trailblazer with Ritter pipe, silencer, primary spring and air filter and was not far behind most of the time and beat him a couple of times.

Whenever I brought up the topic of modifying the TB not too many people seemed interested in this forum or any others. I have modified two now and don't claim to have all the secrets but feel I have some great knowledge on what works and what isn't worth wasting your time on. If any of you guys are interested. Email me at sabhburdick@netzero.net. If I get enough guys wanting the info I will take the time to post all I've learned. I also have a 400 Scrambler and prefer me 250 TB over it anytime unless I know 4 wheel drive will be needed where I am riding.
