There´s a Predator 500 for sale here, nice quad, few extras. Is announced as running good but with mechanical trouble in the gearbox. So i contacted the guy and he says it doesn´t go in gear. Gear selector pedal is loose. So probably the shifter forks are broken? Or are there any other problems that can make it not go in gear?

How much work is it to repair a gearbox? I have seen parts are available on eBay and Amazon. I am quite technicaly inclined, just wondering if it is worth the hassle...

Currently have a Preddy 500 together with a friend, absolutely love it now i replaced the clutch. Wouldn´t mind one just for myself.
