Replacing Traditional Bulbs with LED Bulbs
#1
Hello All,
I have a 1999 Yamaha ATV. I find the headlights and rear tail are not very bright. I would like a cost effective solution. My idea is to replace the traditional incandescent light bulbs with the LED type.
The Head light bulbs are Yamaha P/n: 4KB-84314-00 (12V 30/30Watt).
This bulb has a T19 or P15d Base for Motorcycle.
&
the Rear Tail light is Yamaha P/n: 3GD-84714-00 (12V-7.5W)
This bulb has a standard Bayonet type base
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks !!

People on this site added LED bars for more lighting.

I went with the high-intensity discharge (HID) kit. They work great also.
Here is a HID vs Halogen pic. Its a $100 kit not just a bulb swap.

Here is my 350 Grizzly with a HID KIT.

I could try a HID kit, however I would like to start with the most economical solution at this time. I would just like to replace the Traditional filament bulbs with LED replacements. I would appreciate if specific part numbers for the LED bulbs be shared.
Thanks Y'all

www.bikebandit.com has the LED bulbs as well, just put in your ride and it will tell you the optional bulbs.
