Default Recalls / model issues anyone?

I hadn't seen any recall talk around.

Anyone know of recalls or other known issues on 550 XP with EPS models especially 2010?

Looking at getting back into it after my layoff. Thinking of a used model few K.

Thanks,

R'

This one for sure that I remember.Polaris Sportsman ATV Recall Due to Steering Control Loss Risk - AboutLawsuits.com Most of these should have been addressed. Also a few 550XPs did have some crank case vent problems like the 850 had,but no recall that I'm aware of. Shortly after the 2011 models came out I was out of there.. By the way welcome back..

Thanks OPT, great info. I can secure a barebones 2016 570 non EPS model for $1500 more. Maybe that's the way to go?

If its a new 570 for $1500 more, I think that would definitely be the way to go. The new 2016 450 HO has the 570 engine in it, just tuned differently to make more low end power and isn't quite as fast on top end. But it costs less than the regular Sportsman 570. I've seen them priced as low as $4999 locally plus fees.

Well I pulled the plug on a new 2016 570SP with EPS (Camo).

Hope to pick it up this weekend.
