Default Buying Kenda BC HTRs. 25s or 26s for my 800efi?

Long time lurker, first time posting. Love the forum!

I've been researching tires for my 2011 Sportsman 800efi twin. And I've decided on the Kenda Bearclaw HTRs. As I went to order them I realized they do not offer my stock size of 25x8x12 and 25x11x12.
My choices are 25x8x12 and 25x10x12 or 26x9x12 and 26x11x12.
I understand stepping up to 26s may require a TRF and/spacers. I don't want to add much width due to my dual atv truck bed carrier. .
My primary use would be dirt roads, rocky trails, some mud and residential snow plowing.
Should I stay 25s and just deal with a slightly narrower rear tire? Or step up to 26s with a few minor mods. Machine is stock with add on storage, lighting and winch. FWIW I'm a big guy 300+ lbs.

Thanks for your input.

Won't need mods with 26's and can probably go up to 27's as well.

If you did need spacers on the front with wider tires they would only have to be 1/2". You might not even need them.

One inch wider, I doubt any modifications would be necessary. Might need spacers if you went much wider as your clearance on the inside of the wheel might be tight when turning. Many newer 4x4 utility quads have 26's as standard size anyway now.
