Default 700 twin to an 800???

I bought a 2005? Polaris sportsman twin at an auction with a known blown eng. I've found a place that I can get new crank pistons and cylinders to convert it to a 800 for cheaper than I can rebuild it as a 700. Questions are, Is this a good idea? Does Hotrods cranks hold up? Has anyone done this and what problems did they incure?

I've used Hot Rods for years in single crank shaft applications and never had a problem. Can't attest to how well they hold up in the 800 cranks they build, same for Crank Works. Both of them do a lot of crank shafts for Razrs.
