bought a 2004 predator 500 with no spark as a project. Had a new cdi on it when i got it.
What I think I found is it has an 05 or aftermarket cdi and stator on it because the plugs are different than most 04's I found
Will this possible work with this or is this possible my problem?
ANy ideas? of will these work together.

 

Check first if it is correct CDI for your 2004 Predator.

 

Get the cheap 5 buck service manual and save yourself some grief and hair pulling. Shows trouble shooting steps,resistance tests you need along with the wiring schematic to help you narrow down a no spark condition.Don't just throw parts at it and try to intermix electronic parts. 2004 Polaris Predator 500 Service Manual PDF Download

 

It appears it dont have the correct cdi or stator on it. But with changing both would it possibly work.
I do have a manual for it. The cdi was on it when I got it. I cant remember if they thought it was an 05 instead of an 04.
After searchin on it it looks like it has 05 stator and 05 cdi. by the plugs.

I have an 03 stator but it dont plug into the cdi. So I am searching for a 03-04 cdi

but does anyone know if changing cdi and stator will work together.
