Some people have sworn by 30 wt engine oil, others by atf fluid. Polaris Agl is a thinner fluid, but you're not gonna kill the gear cases by using the Lucasl oil. Best in the future to look for oil suitable for chain driven atv/snowmobile gear cases. Many owners use the same thing in their sleds as they do their atvs. Examples of this is Amsoil chain case gear case oil,Belray chain driven gear case oil, etc. Then again there's that group that swears by the car oil.. When ever you ask about oil you hit a soft spot for people..

ok thanks ill use the lucas for now and switch next time i need to buy some... i have another Q my atv leaks engine oil from somewere i cant tell forsure where cuz its kinda every were.. on the hoses and oil supply lines also there was some at the valve cover ... its not leaking like crazy or anything but i have only rode it 6 times since its rebuild, and its already at the add 8oz mark on the dipstick it seems to only leak when its been driven probably because the oil gets thinner ... its just annoying cuz i dont wanna have to fill 8 oz every6-7 rides witch leads to my question is there a common area the scramblers start leaking oil . or ? just scares me it might be coming from the crank case .....is this a huge problem can it ruin the atv ? i cant afford a bottem end to be pulled apart just for the gasket to be replaced

Valve cover gaskets and even oil tanks were a couple places that seemed to seep oil you can keep an eye on.Had a habit of lightly spraying oil over time. Even better if you clean the engine and you can tell even better. Plus the metal oil line copper gaskets hidden behind the clutch cover was another area on leaks as they got older.

Does this apply to all single jug Fuji's OPT?

Just about all of them would seep oil over time. The 325/330 engines would have a film of oil around the breather cover after awhile. Part of it could be because of the nature of using metal gaskets on the breather covers, but thin synthetic oils used now days are more likely to find a way out than the old dino oils of the past.
