A base 570 is not the same atv, you need to look at the 570SP to equal the 550XP. There are a ton of differences between the two.

Yep, I know. That's why I'm looking for used 550 XP / LE...to get:

- Dual A-Arm
- ADC
- Digital guage pkg.

Exactly. Worth spending a little extra on.

Yes. Especially considering this will be for the wife. I'd like same machines, but the price and condition need to be just right. I'm willing to wait.

Our original budget was $12k for two ATV's. Got good deal on mine, so have a little extra to spend on her's. But not $8k.

if I could talk guy in to selling me the 2013 LE, then I'd essentially have two 2013's with 30 hours / 300 miles, for $6k each.

Wife's Ex hubby has two trailers we can borrow until I get a trailer of our own next spring. He has 2004 and 2006 Grizzly's (600 and 700EPS).

Or get a Grizzly 550 or 700 eps. You don't have to spend extra to get the stuff that should be standard. Polaris has a weird way of packaging their machines, that's for sure. Adc seems like something that 1) Shouldn't exist or 2) You should get in every model, every trim level and whatever the the cost of the machine. Every other manufacturer just puts real engine braking on their cvt quads that automatically kicks in every time you let off the throttle. It might be annoying sometimes but you never have to think about it, it just works.

Looked for Grizzly's first, but there aren't many around here used. And new, wow, they are expensive.

Wife's Ex hubby loaned us his 600 and 700 EPS Grizzly last summer. Liked them very much. Just not many options used in these parts.

Yeah, they do cost a little more. Used Polaris are cheaper.

Local dealer posted this on Craiglist last night. Yes, it's a 2015 model, but new and has just about everything I'm looking for, minus winch.

NE sales tax is 7%, so tack on an additional $500. I'm going to call them today...

For what you were going to spend on a used quad, you might almost be better off going this route. Get a full factory warranty and can finance if you don't want to pay cash too. Unfortunately, the dealer will tack on more fees so probably going to be 8 grand by the time you're done. I'd probably buy a new 570 without eps and let the wife have the 550. You get a new quad and your wife gets the eps she wants and you spend less money. Eps is nice but I'm sure a brand new quad will handle just fine without it.

That's a 570 SP which is equal to his 550XP, EPS is standard. I would grab the SP with EPS, don't go back to a strut atv without EPS.
