2 amps is just enough to keep a battery topped off.. Glad you have it going.

Thanks, last piece in the mail which is ignition and wire. What do you recommend for oil and transmission fluid? I've read online to only use Ps-4 5w-50 there has to be more options

0w40,5w40,5w50 up to 10w50 depending on temperature range that you're at. Any of these good synthetic oils are ok to use.Since no wet clutch is involved, you have a wide variety of oils to choose from. Same thing on the oem oil filters.POLARIS 3084963 - Alternative oil filters On the gear case I might be a bit prejudiced but you can't go wrong with Polaris AGL. If that's not acceptable or easy to obtain, any good chain case gear oil is ok such as what Amsoil has.

Got it ordered the oil.

So I had to change the ignition coil because the silver part inside the boot that sit over plug ripped out. I installed new coil and try cranking its turning over but won't start. I unplug spark plug while still connected to plug wire and touched frame and head on motor to look for spark and I don't see any. Is there a wrong way to install the coil? I plugged in connector up top and theres two wires that where touching the ignition through the mounting screws. I put one wire on top screw and one on lower. I can't remember if both wires needed to be in one screw or not.

Ignition coil I purchased

Did you have spark before the coil change?? The coil is grounded to the frame tabs by the mounting holes and bolts. Not sure on your model, but on the older ones a group of ground wires(brown) tied into the bottom bolts on the coil for grounding. A single blue/white wire from the cdi hooks to the coil tab. Coil wire is at the bottom, wire tab at the top,but really wouldn't matter if the coil was mounted up side down as long as the wire from the cdi was hooked up.

There's 3 wires one plugs into coil itself . The other two I guess grounds like said . Do u know if they needed to be grounded to the same bolt ? I know both wires came off the bolts can't remover if both was on one bolt or one on each. I have them grounded one on each bolt now . As far as I know he's I had spark ways ran fine prior to starter issues

Clean any paint off the coil mounting tabs so you have a good frame ground. Brown ground wires can go at top or bottom bolt, doesn't really matter.

Ah ok both wires on one bolt. I did one up top and one below. I'll switch both to one bolt like yours.

Got it running , thanks a ton for your help. I did notice that the metal piece inside the plug boot that sits over that spark plug is small and doesn't allow a flush for over plug. I had to grind down top of plug a bit to make it small enough to fit inside metal part in boot . Do you think I received wrong park ?
