I recently had a post about my hot glowing exhaust so I contact my dealership and tell them the problem and they say there is a modification for the exhaust so I wait two days for them to tell me a date to look at it and i don't here nothing from them no replies to emails and phone calls they say the manager is out ot busy so I get ticked off and contact another polaris dealer and they say sure we will help u no problem and bring it in tommorow which is today and I bring it in and the service manager says 6 to 8 days and while I'm there I'm asking him questions and told him I had a vibration at a certain rpm and he quickly tells me they all do it that's the sweet spot lol but anyway not one 1hr 15 min later he calls me and says he drove it and the muffler does glow bright orange and he thinks it's not normal but polaris has already contacted him that quick sayimg it is normal and theres nothimg I can do so I go back to pick it up and it's covered In grey mud it's just filthy and my atv has never seen a mudhole creek crossing or mud puddle!! It's looks like it just come off the showroom floor and I was so pissed I just loaded it up and never even went and talked to him just left before I blew up and he put 12 miles on it so all I can see he was doing was having a play day I'm just disguisted

yep, no respect for your equipment and i have
said for years that Polaris service has gone done hill over the years. very sad indeed as it used to be a great company but it's all about the money they make from sales and the hell with you after that. imo

its pronounced "Stealership"
Unless you get a good dealer behind your back, you are better off taking it to your local ma and pa shop YES even for warranty service because if you pay you will actually get quality repairs

If your machine is new and still under warranty...talk to the bank if you have a loan on the machine. Sometimes it pays to finance thru the dealership so you have some recourse while still under warranty. Call Polaris and speak with them, if no satisfaction then post an ad in your local paper with pictures explaining what the local dealer did so all can see it!! Park in front of their dealership or across the street with a big sign telling everyone how you got ripped off. People do pay attention and the dealer will soon become upset and will probably want to try and settle something with you. Take some action...don't just sit there....let them know!!

I paid in full when I bought it in june and I have the three yr extended warranty and I'm gonna try to get that back and put a full exhaust and tuner and I'm not gonna give them monew for a warranty that their gonna look for every excuse to deny u so now I have a atv I can't enjoy because of fear of catching someones property on fire or my own and they just want ur money when u walk out the door the caring ends there it's all smiles till u need them lol

I contacted polaris a week ago about the issue and said they were sorry I was experiencing difficulties and if I see any abnormalities to go see a dealer well I don't know what they mean by abnormality but I woukd think a 1000 degree muffler woukd be one and it's got usfs stamped on it and ain't no way usfs approve that

You need to make up some signs to post in front of the dealership and take out an ad in the newspaper. Does your local news TV have a public forum where people can air their complaints? That is a great place to start, then file a complaint with the better business bureau. I financed mine thru the dealer until the warranty runs out then I will pay it off. If I get any crap I can just stop payment.
