just got a smoking deal on a bobcat utv.. apparently they are a ranger clone.same as ranger 500 efi

they come speed limited in high range

dealer wants 700$ for speed kit to fix this

rpms arent limited in low or reverse just high range. any chance a polairs cdi box would fix this. or any way to trick transmission into thinking its in low?

also how big of rubber can i go with 2 inch lift ?

 

Doubt very seriously Polaris Parts would interchange with a Bobcat. All utvs are starting to look alike,clones of one another,but electronics are a different matter.

 

engine and transmission are polaris so i dunno.shift lever same. chassis same .maybe just trick it into thinking its in low range so rpm doesnt get limited??
