New from Colorado
Hey Everybody, I'm new to the atv world even thou I've owned my atv for about a year now. I have a 95' Polaris Magnum 425 4x4. The only time I took it out was last winter after we had a snow storm here and I didn't have any issues. I've changed the oil and battery since then but nothing else. I wanted to take it out this labor day weekend and low and behold I'm having a problem. I had to pull start her because the battery didn't have enough juice to use the electric start. She started up fine and seemed to be running good but when I took her down the rode she didn't have any power when I hit the throttle. I checked my spark plug and it actually looked pretty good the gap was a little off so I fixed that with no change in the power problem. If you guys or gals have any suggestions please let me know.

Start out by changing the plug if you haven't already plus drain the old gas.Simple things like that, the air filter, etc are what a lot of people over look. Plus if it's been sitting up over a year ethanol may have gummed up the carb.If that involves taking the carb off install a good carb kit don't just try to clean one.
