Is there a governor on a 03 Trailblazer 250?

 

For the throttle? Not from the factory.

 

Honestly, this is my first ATV and I'm still learning. Someone asked me if I took my governor off and I wasn't sure if I had one.

 

No governor but does has a reverse limiter module under the front panel that can short out and cause problems.Can die when you place it in reverse and on some machines can cause a limiting in forward range when they short out. On this just remove the black wire from the limiter and you can have full power in reverse without having to push the over ride button,plus eliminates any future problems. Just a safety device that failed often and really not needed.
