Hey guys new to the forum but I just got my polaris and the water and coolant disappears after bout 10-15 mins. Then it'll run hot so ill add water and more coolant and it just repeats the process over and over again. I just got and would like to enjoy it without having to worry if its going to tear up. The battery don't work so could it be the fan? But that wouldn't explain the water and coolant disappearing. Please help

Coolant has to be going somewhere. Check the weep hole at the water pump housing for any leaking on the frame area along with the hoses and radiator itself. Leaking at the back of the radiator can be hard to see if it's filled with mud also.Plus if the radiator is dirty this can cause over heating even with a fan running. One other reason could be a blown head gasket if it's ever gotten hot enough. Yes the fan needs the battery to operate or a machine can over heat quickly and blow a head gasket like mentioned. Plus just adding coolant without burping any trapped air just adds to the problem on over heating. A radiator pressure test can spot hard to find external leaks and in some cases you can smell coolant burning if the head gasket is leaking into the combustion area. Something also that can help is the service manual that has a cooling system section with trouble shooting guides and checks.
