Default 2003 Polaris Trailblazer no electric start

This atv is not wanting to crank with the electric start. I have replaced the starter last year. The solenoid is good, I can use a jumper wire and it functions. I am not getting any voltage to the solenoid wire. I don't know where to look. I have the service manual but it is fairly vague when it comes to this. Says to check various things but doesn't tell how. Anywhere I should look?

Clean the connections on the left control switch, work the on/off emergency kill switch back and forth as it sends power to the ignition switch. It could be the problem area if the brass contacts are dirty or if the wiring leading into the switch has shorts. Look under the steering post area for shorts also.

I pulled the left control pod apart and cleaned everything up, I don't see any rubbed wires anywhere, still have nothing. Showing no voltage at the solenoid. I don't see any kind of brake safety switch, is there anything like that?

Sorry forgot to have you check that you have power on each side of the circuit breaker located up from the battery in a plastic pouch. If it doesn't,slice the pouch open and check for corroded terminals. You can replace this 20 amp breaker for less than 10 bucks at most auto houses. This supplies power to the control switch, control switch can then power up the ignition. Item #3 on the parts illustration.

I feel so stupid, I don't know if I want to post the resolution.... turn the key. The control pod says to push the button up to start, printed right on there, and I have worked on Polarises before that this was the case. This one apparently there is a start position on the key switch itself and I never tried turning it past the on position. I feel like an idiot.

So many people forget or didn't notice that this model used the combo kill and up to start switch... Plus on some of the older ones the markings are worn off.. Glad you found the problem.

Misread your last post as most people did get messed up on the upward switch, but not in your case.Your model doesn't show to have it. Has the auto style ignition. Wonder why it says that on the control panel?? This is the correct part number for the 2003 Trail Blazer and just has the left ride slide switch as you supposedly have.
