Hi .... New to the site ... Hoping maybe to get some help on a wiring issue

Got an 04 predator 500 and when its running lights flicker like they are dimming ... Also my rad fan dont come on .. But when i hook it to 12 volts fan works .. And red light comes on ... On dash ... So im assumeing the sensor is working ... I had to reroute wires to fan to a headlight to get 12 volts to make it work for now ... Until i find out issue ... Can anyone help??? Greatly appreciated...

 

Hot light sensor to the dash sounds ok but probably the radiator sensor that controls the fan may be shorted. Also check the sealed circuit braeaker under the front panel. Must have 12 volts on each side. If not split the pouch open and check for corroded terminals. You can get these at any auto supply if needed.
