Has anyone had a tear appear on their seat of a relativley new scrambler 500 4x4? I have one over the edge on the front.

Rainman , I just bought a new 2001 SP HO.The second day I went to ride my wife noticed a tear on the seat also.It was at the front of the seat & could really only be seen when you was sitting on the seat right where the tank and seat meet.I called my dealer and they were great about it.They ordered me a new one and I picked it up 3days later.After reading your post I'm wondering if any one else has had this problem.My HO only had 3 gentle miles on it,so I know I didn't tear it.

Me too it has been there since the first day right were the seat meets the tank and can only be seen when you sit on it.
it is only tiny maybe half a centimeter long and has never gotten any bigger in over a year and a half of owning the quad so i am really not to concerned about it
