I have decided to sell my '98 SP500, and buy the '01 SP HO. I think I will go with the yellow, but a friend told he seen a yellow SP that the plastic had faded bad on so he went with a red one. Looking for other opions on this.

I have a yellow 2000 SP 500, no fade here. I would imagine its all in how you take care of it.

My friend has a 99 SP500 and it is red he has no garage so it sits out all the time and it has fadded,I think if you take care of it it will be ok. I just put yellow on my 99 scrambler 400 4x4 and I love it. Good luck with your new one.

 

will the pastic fit a 99 trail bazer and if it does how much is it and where do i get it?

 

I got my plastic from my dealer,he told me it was the same as the trail blaser and 500 scrambler.I have 99 400 scrambler 4x4 it looks great.I paid around $275.00.I want to get the decals for it the ones they put on the new yellow 500 scrambler,they are $125.00. Hope this helps.

 

use some kind of sun protector, like Armor All, or Son of a Gun. Buy a cover for it if you do not have a place ot park it in side. That should keep it shinning great. I personally use Son if a Gun.

Thanks guys. My '98 still looks great and has been inside (when not in use). I was currios about the yellow, if it would fade more.
I pick up the new HO (yellow) this week, can't wait. It will be inside when not in use too, that won't be too much this week.
