Default Exhaust leaking at seals on start up

I think my exhaust seals need to be replaced, but I'd like to hold off on this for now. When my ATV starts to warm up, they leak sometimes. Would this cause any issues or performance problems if I wait? Parts are expensive in Canada and I have other things to fix first.
