Default 04 Sportsman 700 drive clutch

Have a 700 that would not disengage. found that the one way bearing was locked up and the sheave has a lot of cracks. Did get the bearing freed up but need to know what the options are so it doesn't happen again.

Thank you

Hope you replaced the washers in front and behind the one way.If the clutch is still usable you can try to polish any rough feeling surface cracks down to keep from eating up belts. If they're really bad, probably time to replace the clutch. Here's a good post on one way bearing repairs along with clutch creeping that many have problems with. On a 500,but same style clutches.https://atvconnection.com/forums/pol...-creeping.html

I ended up purchasing a new clutch. Tracks center and operates like it is suppose to. Thanks for your help.

Sometimes that's the best way to go. Glad you got it fixed.
