My '98 Sport 400L will take my friends Banshee until I hit my top-end. Then he just goes by me like nothing (5-10mph). I'd imagine that I could get a Warrior until then, but what about top end? They got the 6-speed tranny too so do you think they are faster? I'm talking stock vs. stock. My other friend is buying a Warrior, and I just want to know what to expect when we line them up. Thanks for the help guys.

fact is that a sport 400 working in good condition should beat ANY stock warrior in ALL respects. it shouldn't even be close.

the sport should top out at about 65 and the warrior at about 58-60 no more. this shouldnt' be a close race at any time.

the sport should be closer compared with a 400ex speed wise. not a warrior or 300ex.

evidently there is something wrong with your 400. get it checked out.

Thanks to everyone for the replies. Mag, I have not raced a Warrior yet. That is why I was asking. I raced my neighbors Banshee and I can beat him until I reach top-end, so I knew that I could get a Warrior until then as well. I was TOLD that a Warrior has the same tranny as a Banshee, so I didn't know if it would have more top-end then me or not. I have never driven one, nor have I ever even riden with one. Thank you for letting me know what I can expect. Thanks.
