Engine died

Default Engine died

I have a 2007 700 efi engine was running fine when it just died like you turned off the key now it does nothing I turn the key but nothing works has anyone had this problem or a idea what it could be thanks for any help in this matter

Check the simple things first like battery connections,load test the battery to see if it's ok.Check the fuses and fuse block itself for wires that may have pulled out or for corroded pins. This was a common area on the 700/800 models for electrical problems. Also check the left control switch connectors. Same thing can happen if pins are dirty,not making good contact. If the Delphi type fuse block is the problem you can get these cheap or as some have done installed better moisture proof fuse blocks.PER-080&029&036-4 ATO / ATC Delphi Fuse Block Panel 4 Gang 12 V Blade Style Fuse | eBay

If you find it to be an electrical connection try coating the two connections with "Dow 111" valve lubricant availiable at most lubrication and bearing outlets. It is a heavy silicone grease used for high pressure valves (water) but also a electrical grease to prevent moisture intrusion. I found many uses for this stuff on my boat where moisture is a big problem!
