If i pull the plug at the cooler and the light goes out, will this affect the cooling fan operation? I have a guy who wants to buy it from me for his kid because he has the same identical machine for his wife and he says his light and fan stay on all the time, no matter if it is just started or have been run for awhile. Only my light comes on so far, not the fan. I know the fan works, just not constant like his.

Yes the fan won't work. Like I mentioned they don't even come on until 260 degrees. Most people never hear the fan kick on. If you wish you can have the fan on a toggle switch. Use it when under a heavy load. A lot of oil cooled machines don't even have fans to begin with.
